What To Expect
Step
1
Call for an Appointment.
Call us at 860-629-7758 to make an appointment.
Office hours are Monday-Friday 9:00 am – 5:00pm. For safety reasons, we are not allowing walk-ins at this time.
One of our Paralegals will answer the phone and ask you to describe your situation, provide your contact information, and let us know when you are able to make an appointment.
Our paralegals can communicate with you fluently in English and Spanish.
Step
2
Preparing For Your Visit.
The purpose of your visit is for the attorney to fully understand your situation and determine the best path forward.
The initial consultation will cost $25 and can take from 30 minutes to 1 hour. We recommend that you bring all documents related to your case, including Passport, Green Card and Employment Authorization Card. If you do not speak any of the languages listed above, you must bring someone to help you translate.
Step
3
Your Lawyer Visit.
One of our Paralegals will meet you when you arrive and will ask for more detailed information about your address, your income level and your immigration issue. This information is always kept private.
You will then meet with the attorney, will ask questions to ensure she/he fully understands your case and can identify next steps.
Step
4
Your Case.
After meeting with the attorney, you will meet again with one of our Paralegals, who will indicate the fee to be paid to IASC based on your income as well as the fees to be paid to USCIS. You can take some time to decide if you want to start your process with us at IASC.

Step 5 – Other Visits.
Continuing To Work With You
If you decide to work with IASC, you may need to visit the office sometimes to provide needed documentation and to answer questions for your filing. One of our Paralegals can help you with this process. Once your information is complete, the Attorney will review the documentation and we will take care of mailing the documents to USCIS. Attorney will meet with you to prepare you for any interview with USCIS and can accompany and represent you for an additional fee.
