Estephany Galarza outlines the IASC mission.

On August 1st, the Immigration Advocacy & Support Center (IASC) participated in a fundraising event hosted by Sucúa es Atlético (SEA), a non-profit organization dedicated to children in Sucúa, Ecuador.  The fundraiser, benefitting children with special needs in Sucúa, featured dancing, copious amounts of delicious food, and specially-invited singers and songwriters. The event took place in Madison, CT and IASC had the pleasure of sharing its mission with the attendees at this special evening.  Estephany Galarza, an intern of IASC and member of SEA presented the mission, vision and the services that IASC has to offer to the immigrant community. Many of the members of SEA are immigrants themselves, who came to this country to find better opportunities, making the relationship between SEA and IASC a natural fit. Both organizations will continue collaborating on future events and expanding their respective objectives throughout Connecticut.
